Five more cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Nodaway County


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed five more cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The Health Department says the latest patients are a boy and a girl in their teens, a man and a woman in their 20s, and a man in his 70s. All the new patients are currently isolated in private residences.

Health officials say this now brings the total number of cases to 182, but 129 of those individuals are no longer in isolation. Nine people with underlying medical conditions have been hospitalized, and five have since been released.
